Description

The  VersaPlate on my MX+ is flipped 90°  [perpendicular] to the normal, single scope orientation; this allows it to carry multiple scopes. The 132 sits on the west side with a RedCat guider setup piggyback, while the Borg 107 sits on the east side with the Borg 55 piggyback. With this setup I have three different FOVs available. Sometimes the primary targeting scope presents an interesting FOV for another scope. I was gathering OIII and SII data with the Borg 107 and fired up the William Optics 132 FLT, having finally improved the back focus distance. I decided to see what the 132 FOV had to offer; this was it.

As things are mounted at present, I have not employed an aimer...I have the JTD for the 132 and an ADM for smaller scopes...on either side because it would raise things pretty high. This can become problematic when the mount is heeled over and I am trying to keep the guider on one side and the 107 or 55 on the other side both in the shutter opening of the Dome. Thus the 132 and the 107 do not both place a target star in the FOV center. So this image is just where the 132 landed when the 107 was on target. But I decided it was interesting, and I grabbed some data. Kinda fun...
